Scholarship Scheme:

The Government of Madhya Pradesh provides various MP scholarships to the meritorious students who are afflicted by financial constraints to aid them in continuing their education. Students who are residents of Madhya Pradesh and fulfil the given eligibility criteria can apply through the MP Scholarship portal.

The scholarships are available for the students who belong to SC/ST/OBC or other minority categories. 

MP Scholarships – Eligibility Criteria

This section covers all the details regarding the eligibility criteria of each MP scholarship. Among all the scholarships there is one common eligibility condition required to be fulfilled, that is the student must be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh.

• As per the MP scholarship, applicants must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh, only then they can apply for scholarship and avail the benefits.

• There are some specific conditions that are required to be fulfilled which differ from one to another scholarship (For – OBC/SC/ST).

• The total income of the applicant’s parent must be as per the limit to avail the MP scholarship.
• One scholarship can be taken up to one time.

National Scholarship Portal (NSP)– 

To avail of various scholarships and help students apply for them, one needs to register on NSP. Students must know how to apply through the scholarship portal. 

However, before applying for a scholarship, the students need to make sure that their current educational institution is registered on the portal. If the institution is not registered on the portal, the student will not be able to apply for any scholarship. The portal also has the provision for the institutions to register themselves, if not already registered.

Who can apply for NSP Scholarships?

The NSP scholarships are offered by different departments functioning under the Government of India and other state governments. Therefore, the eligibility criteria of each NSP scholarship vary. Candidates must check individual scholarships to know their eligibility criteria. These scholarships are meant for students of undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD students.
